The GPI group is serving in various business verticals mainly in manufacturing of CI and SGI machined castings, proprietary products in marine, off-highway, oil and gas industries; manufacturing of non-proprietary assemblies, sub-assemblies in tractor, offhighway industries etc..

The GPI group has a strong global footprint in CI and SGI casting in Tractor, Railways, CV, Genset and Offhighway industries. Consequent to the establishment of a small foundry in 1962, GPI has gradually grown to a sophisticated foundry with a High Pressure Molding Line with Automatic Core Shooting Unit, Automatic Press Pour Machines, and S.G. Iron Convertors. We have developed our own strategic capabilities for automation, special purpose machine building etc. through which facilities we are able to upgrade quality, maintain consistency in delivery, and to remain competitive. We are manufacturing and supplying machined casting, assemblies which includes mainly Cylinder Head, Cylinder Block (Single to Six cylinder), Case Transmission, Flywheel Housing, Clutch Housing, Differential Housing, Engine Bed Frame, Rear Axle Housing, Brake Drums, Front Axle Support, Crank Shaft, Hubs, Bogie Anchorage, King Post etc. to aforesaid industries.

Manufacturing and Supplying Machined Casting

GPI started manufacturing Valves for Oil and Gas Industries from 1990 and has been accredited with API 6A and 6D Certificates by American Petroleum Institute. GPI is one of the global solution providers to the Oil and Gas Industry and supplies Industrial Valves, Turnkey components offering a full range of API 6A and 6D gate, double Block and Bleed (DBB) Plug Valves, shut off Pig Valves and Swing Check Valves and configuration within each of its core products. We are serving in ‘Upstream Oil and Gas Industries’ and ‘Midstream and Downstream Oil and Gas Industries’ through the brand name of ‘Omniseal’ (i.e. refineries, petrochemical plants, market terminals, tank farm, jetties, airports, and pipeline etc.). We have a technical association with Mott-Macdonald, Worley Parsons, EIL, Chemitech and Maecon. For Oil and Gas business we have sales and manufacturing locations in USA, Canada and India.

GPI is a manufacturer of proprietary products which are designed and developed by GPI. We are producing a wide array of products for the same under the brand name of ‘GPPOWERTRAIN’, which includes transmissions such as Mechanical Power Take Offs, Marine Power Take Offs, Fluid Couplings and Marine Gear Boxes etc. We have in-house Research and Development Center with facilities like Finite Element Analysis, Experimental Stress Analysis, Functional Acceptance Testing etc. These products are backed with aftersales support. Through this sub-assembly division, GPI provides indigenous solutions as import substitutes for various critical sub-assemblies e.g. Bharat Earth Movers Ltd. (BEML). We are also manufacturing and supplying non-proprietary sub-assemblies with testing to OEM’s-where all suppliers are approved by the customer.
